Hello,

I am trying to sell a PS3 and am just wondering how much it is worth in your opinion. A full list of whats included is below:

**NOTE** I know this has nothing to do with computers and I have no idea if this is in the right thread. I apologize in advance.

-PS3 System (40GB model with a 250GB HDD) -in good shape
-2x Wireless Controller (1xSixaxis, 1x Dualshock 3)
-1xOfficial Sony Bluetooth Headset (Socom)
-1xKeypad for controller
-1xController charging dock
-1xPS3 Carrying case
-1xHDMI cable (6 foot)
-all other cords included with PS3

Everything works perfectly.

If someone could help me out it would be appreciated. I need some cash to get another GTX260 for SLI and a new PSU that can handle it

Thank you

depending on the age id say around $450-$500 max, i just got one that was 7 months old for $400, had 2 controllers, motorstorm, cod4, and tiger woods 08, and i felt that i over payed lol

I usually say that something that is within 3 months of new is worth about 70-75% of it's value. Then after that it's about 60% until a couple years goes by and you're looking at 50% or lower.

I would ask for $400 or take the 250GB HD out and ask $300.

You can get a $80GB PS3 now for $399.99 and there is a price drop coming soon, so I'd try to sell it asap.

If the 80GB drop to $299.99 or even $349.99 your going to have an even harder time selling your 40GB.

i wonder how much the 60GB ones go for. I have one of them, and it has the built in Emotion Engine for PS2 compatibility. From what i understand, the new PS3 lack backwards compatibility.
