Hot Deals!!!!!

I use a lot of their 1G models for PoE injection, far cheaper than multiple injectors. If that was a PoE variant would have immediately been in my cart (newer APs are 2.5G).
still not PoE, but the 8 port model is on sale too for $99.00, down from $139.00.

@Izerous yeh, TPL doesn't have any unmanaged PoE multi-gig switches yet. I thought Grandstream did in their newer 7700M series, but looks like they don't either. :P

This is the backbone of a lot of PoE setups that I have used... also on sale right now but not nearly as heavy of a discount.

is a 1Gb backbone sufficient to serve around 8 or so 4K surveillance cameras?
G5 Pro (4k version of the G5 bullet) from the spec sheet
"Networking Interface 10/100 MbE RJ45 port". So 4k non-ai cameras don't even need more than 10/100. So 4 sharing even a 1G backbone isn't an issue.

The newer DSLR and AI cameras are only 1G ports. But messing with the AI cameras might hit the power limits of the unit I linked or atleast very close. But 2 of them should be able to drive 8xG5 Pros no problem.

All the new U7 (WiFi7) stuff is all 2.5G though.

not a deal, more a warning. a trusted source just told me that WD / ScanDisk are expected to be hiking their SSDs by 10% in short order. they also said Kingston's newer NV3 and older A400 SSD are going to be highly allocated soon, so availability will drop, and prices may go up on them as well.

Beware......

Saw that, kinda wild it came from Amazon (but the details there are sketchy? I think the buyer chose a non-prime storefront). Did they really need to peel off a sticker to wonder why an AM5 cpu had pins? Haha

It for sure came from a store within Amazon. Which unless it's shipped by Amazon I would never buy from.

It is hilarious to think the pins weren't a dead giveaway. This isn't a new scam though. People were doing it with the 5800x3d etc as well.
