inches or pixels

anyone got any information on 1080p 22 inch lcds ive been doing a bit of looking around and there seems to be 1680x1050 monitors and 1080p capable which seems wierd
Basically it takes a 1080p signal and scales it down to 1680x945 ...

A monitor capable of accurately reproducing a 1080p input signal will have a resolution of 1920x1080 or higher ...

thanks for the info it almost looked like the better deal since thier 300$ cheaper but ya just cant replace 1920x1200(or true 1080p) :thumb: thanks again

My 42" Plasma can only have a PC connected to it at 1024x768. Haven't done it yet and don't really care to but still...i'm sure it ain't pretty on that big a screen. But still I'd rather have a big HD tv over a monitor just for movies sakes. Who wants to squint watching a movie on a 22"? But that's a living room vs PC room right? Go for the monitor.
