Damn, at least I had no grey hair and white beard back then...

chris, as for opening the screen I grab left and right edges on my Thinkpad - which has the same non-existent tab.

I'm hoping that made you spit your coffee out all over the keyboard.

Anyhow, on topic, happy to see the XPS is working out for you.
We use them here at work and I love them. They are expensive, but worth the money and way more durable than the X1's from Lenovo (which is sad because I LOVE lenovo Laptops).
