Not a chance would I buy this. You can bet, with reasonable certainty, that first gen foldables are going to have a laundry list of issues after a year or two. It's just a matter of basic engineering, you're essentially dynamically straining the materials and creating deformation that while elastic at first (or seemingly) will eventually lead to plastic deformation and failure. It's not a problem unique to plastic, but plastic is by no means immune to it. I'm sure after a gen or two, they'll be pretty decent material advances, but it's a risk I wouldn't recommend.
On a cheap enough tablet, I could maybe see chancing it, but for the price of a laptop, no thank you. The price premium of Samsung's fold makes me think this laptop is going to command a hefty premium.
