Make Leisure Suit Larry come again!

Sorry, but I just can't get past clicking on the title and the action it suggests....... ;)

Good to know I am not alone on that feeling, that wording has me running to youtube to look it up myself.

Heh... Leisure Suit Larry was never my style of game anywise. Too linear like the King's Quest series, I was more of a lord british kinda guy..... ;)

That's not to say there's anything wrong with it, tons of folks loved it.

The best old games of this genre without question (I <3 DOS) police quest, and space quest those games ate up years of my childhood, still haven't beaten either game to this day.

Which ones? I have played and currently own all the Police quests (finished all), Space Quests (finished all but 6), King's Quest (finished all but 8), and a bunch more old Sierra games. Oh and yes I played and finished all of the old Larry games, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6.

Oh and yes all of those were beaten before the internet walkthrough. Man I do love those old ones. And if interested in them you can get some of them from gog.

I miss Ultima, it had me hooked growing up. Zork was my gateway game as sad as that sounds.

Never beat PC 1 , but I did buy the set from GOG so we will see if my gaming skills have increased in these years.

I would say that most peoples has actually decreased. The reason of course the the ease at which we can get walkthroughs or hints compared to the past. I remember getting stuck in spots on some of those quest games and I couldn't even go into town to get the hint book since I usually had to order them in (small town). So because of that you would just stay at it until you finally figured out what you were doing wrong. Could be frustrating though.
