I installed this card just to use as a stop gap before I decide on which way to go when buying a new GPU. Unfortunately every time I go to play a game the game loads and works for maybe a second but than freezes up. I have tried it with every game I have and the same issue. Card was working perfectly before I reinstalled it. Have tried uninstalling drivers and reinstalling. Nothing seems to be helping. Any ideas?

Is there a driver error that pops up by any chance? Try underclocking the memory.

Nothing pops up but in Even Log I get the message Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

Yeah, that's a video card crash. Like I said, try individually reducing core and memory clock speeds. That will narrow things down.

Then.....prepare of an RMA.

Well I tested my PSU as something just didn't seem right and wasn't working correctly. Luckily I had a new one for the build I am currently doing. Installed and and BAM, everything works smoothly now.

Just for the sake of completeness, check the PCI-e cable on the suspect PSU to make sure all the pins are in their and aligned.
Perhaps on the re-install a pin got pushed or wiggled out of place just enough to starve the card of power.
