Hi guys

I had my pc set up as a dual boot with Windows 10 on one ssd and Windows 11 on another ssd,I had to reformat my Windows 11 ssd and I know for sure nothing got deleted on my Windows 10 ssd and when Windows 11 got reinstalled the boot menu never came up anymore to choose which OS I wanted to boot into.

Is there something in the bios I need to reset or something like that,I know that when I installed Windows 11 I just installed Windows 10 right after and I got the boot menu each time,I decided this time to just reinstall Windows 10 again right away as there are only 3 programs that I run that have to be used on Windows but I'd rather not have to go threw the process of having to install both OS's each time I need to reformat one of them.

I haven't done a dual boot in a very long time...but if you hit the delete key as soon as the PC posts, it should bring up a boot menu and list the options, so the two OS, safe mode, recovery mode and such.

depending on the software you need to run on 10, you might want to use VirtualBox and run it off 11?

I tried bring up the boot menu by pressing the delete key but that didn't work, from what I seen by doing a google search it claims you need to repair the boot menu which is so stupid if thats the case and you would think the system would check each ssd to see if it has a boot loader and if both do then bring up the boot menu.

I will try that the next time I have to install an OS on one of the ssd's I will just pull the ssd that doesn't need Windows installed onto it and see what happens.

Thanks
