Ontario Liberal Majority

In a nutshell, the Liberal support base.
That's why most if not all provinces are going down the drain including Alberta. I don't think the Liberals and Conservatives are that different. Only by some degrees. But, the Liberals present a better, smoother image that hooks stupid voters which the Conservatives only really accomplished recently, federally. The Liberals had to add on scandal upon scandal for that to come to fruition, too.

Imho, there's no current party to vote for and I don't see that changing any time soon.

There is no truly wrong answer nor 'right' answer...and this will be the tough part for you to understand. Both have their pros and cons. But there are probably more reasons to a subway first. Bigger, faster, less weather prone. All of which even the LRT crowd admit are true. The experts all agree LRT is smaller and slower, there is some debate on weather effecting the LRT itself, but once again people dont like standing around in the cold, so underground would be less weather prone to drop in avg number of riders on bad days - the days you really dont want peeps driving.

its a prettier option?

yeah take transit underground for its independent of weather and traffic auto/pedestrian/bicycle and local business ,

only issue is claustrophobia for some people

free WiFi
