Holy shit, blast from the past... Good timing, homie I just got the chips in last week (x5650s thanks to Chilly). I will have it on air, tested, this weekend.

In my defence, I've been working in the US for 8 months and this rig is 3500kms away I will have an update this weekend, promise, as I finally finished my project and will flying home for a few weeks.

At this point, I'm only missing the GPUs, so it's just a matter of building it at this point. It's been PAINFUL having all these parts and being unable to actually build the damn thing!

just got it back off a guy I loaned it to. should be fine. can loan it to you fore testing.

SHE'S ALIVE!!!

I finally got her up and running (dry)... she's installing windows as we speak.

Working with Daz now to get the final few watercooling parts I need, in the meantime I plan to play with BIOS' and OC settings. Anything over 4GHz stable will make me happy, just not going to see huge numbers out of the x5650s, but what it lacks for in speed it makes up for in cores and threads

A few quick pics from last night's work session... will post my mods and build log once i tear her down and throw her under water.
