"It barely fits in my home office... it's 35 inches tall, 18 inches wide and 24 inches deep. You need some serious space for any of MM's extended cases."

I threw in some parts so I can start planning (loops, wiring). I'm really surprised just how little room there is in the case. I know, sounds dumb, but the sheer size of the board takes some getting used to.

You'll see in the pic below that there's only ~5 inches between the board and the rad. I had purchased 2 UN Design brackets and was going to use them to mount the new EK reservoir to the rads but that may not longer be possible (the new model is 10mm larger in diametre).

I'm starting to rethink these 120x38mms at this point... kinda funny that 13mm might make all the difference in such a large case.

There's been lots of e-bitching about the MM SR-2 motherboard tray. Folks say it bends really easily. In this pic you can see it is slightly tilted. The huge cut out in the tray, allowing access to the CPU back plate, diminishes its rigidity. It concerns me a little, but if it becomes a real problem it will be easy to fix.

This is going to be great Kang! Is the wife cool with this or did you just tell her to 'HTFU'? :haha:
No, I told her to GTFOOMOAGTTKAMMAS! (get the **** out of my office and go to the kitchen and make me a sandwich) Seriously though, she's cool with it... I just took her on a vacation and bought her a pair of shoes, so I'm good.

JEALOUS!!!

and if you want really GOOD video cards....go with ATI right now as the Fermis are junk. Too hot and the power requirements are way out there.

Couple of 5970's.....WOW!!! Way better than anything Nvidia can do.

What you gonna use this system for?

A couple of T or L brackets mounted on the back of the tray along its length would solve that problem easily, if there is sufficient room behind the tray (it looks like there is).

Mostly online shopping and word processing... a bit of Farmville too.

Looking good, I second that you should go with ATI... it will also fit the red/black theme.
Pft! All I care about is the black PCB, you can rest assured that the nasty stock heatsink of any GPU will be removed promptly :)
