OK Folks, its done! Got the money back just now after some haggling and e-mails.

Long story short, there was a couple weeks of e-mails, he says he "sent it to me, and it was returned". I know that was BS, because after he said he sent it, he said he would send me a PM with the tracking. I asked him several times for the tracking, and he dodged the question. Same thing he did on the other forums. It went on and on for a while.

Im not 100% sure, but I think he just felt it wasnt worth the risk with the RCMP and Edmonton Police sorta on the case, and me keeping a close eye.

Regardless, the matter of fact is I got the money back and it's done with.


Admin's probably dont want this to turn into another flame war, so someone can lock right away if you like. Just letting you know it worked out in the end!!

Good Job!

Most people would of just shrugged it off, and let the bastard get away with it. Good on you for tracking him down and getting the money back. Good luck on finding another Q6600! :thumb:

thanks, and dont need one anymore :P for the time being anyway just bought a house so my "hobby" of frivolous computer spending is winding down unfortunately

Thanks for the update, and I'm glad it finally worked out for you.

And yeah.... I think I'll lock this thread before we see more of what we've seen in the past. :)
