Has anyone tried racedriver GRID? Specifically the multiplayer-been a long time since I bought a race game but I like the look of this.

Beleive it or not, I just can't get the "feel" of racing games on the computer. Maybe I need one of those ultra-expensive racing wheels.

Have you tried it with even a cheap wheel? Makes all of the difference in the world when playing a driving game. (without one, it's like driving a car with your feet.... it's possible, but certainly not the easiest task)

I can't use the KB for the life of me, I have both a wheel and controller both are good but the wheel really helps to get you in the "zone". If I am playing a quick game though I almost always just use the controller.

I'd not thought about the steering wheel side of it.
Not sure how well it will go down though in my office space at home:bananafunky:

they cant be too expensive anyway as this game seems to get the thumbs up and will be nice to have some extra realism...the only driving action Ive had recently was randomly blowing a tire out in a grate by the bank.

I have this and it is pretty cool.

Looks great and is pretty realistic, without destroying the fun. I actually just placed number one in earnings for my team over the full season, just over 83 million. Only took me 12 seasons.

Plus it looks great. You can see more of my comments on the performance on the other thread about Grid here: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/gaming/7252-grid.html#post60958
