Spending most if not all of my reading week next week at school working on 1 course project, take home test, assignment and final year project...must be nice to be in Arts (not directed at you omgwtf) and actually get the week off...

Temp agencies who don't put as much emphasis on ensuring their employees are paid as they do on ensuring that you fill out and fax every concievable form in triplicate.

Gee.... you didn't fully pay me for the job I did back before christmas and you're surprised that I'm not interested in doing any more work for you? Not getting paid initially never was the issue... stuff happens, I understand that. But, when an employee informs you that they didn't get paid for work completed then that should be your job #1.... the contract between employer and employee is pretty simple at its roots.... the employee does his best to complete the task(s) he's been assigned and the employer ensures that the work is paid for.

So get recall notice for nice big deep disk frying pan. Bring to Costco, but since it was a gift and not bought with our account we could only get what it is currently worth. So really nice large pan, and we get $15. Fine whatever, not worth bringing it in but whatever. So get $15 put onto gift card, take card and membership and receipt and put all into my inside pocket. Go through store get what we need and everything seems fine. Get to till and no gift card, its gone. Not really sure how, but I'm thinking that maybe it was stuck to the back of my phone or something when I took the phone out.

So end of story? I am out a really nice deep dish frying pan and got jack shit in return!!!

Just typical of this entire week.
 
So, not only did my oil provider try and take out last months payment 3 days early, they decided they had to bill me twice for it. I don't know what planet these people live on but I don't have an extra 614.11 just kicking around in my bank account that they can take at will. I called my bank and filed a complaint but it will apparently take 3-5 days to resolve, meanwhile it's the begining of the month and I have insurance payments and internet fees coming out, and there just ain't anything there when some corporation steals $614.11, money that they were already paid 21 days previously. :angry2:
