Rants etc.....

:censored:ing dishwashers. Owned 3 homes over the last 14 years and I've had to put a new dishwasher in each one. This one was all of 16 months old, but it only came with a one year warranty.

Maybe it's just me, but might as well check.....

Am I the only person in the world who hates the current USB 3.0 motherboard header setup? The bloody things seem to go out of their way to bend pins on me. I suspect the header walls need to be a bit taller and the pins a bit shorter so that the plug doesn't start engaging the pins until it's well centered.

This is especially important now that mITX is becoming main stream... we're getting back to tight wiring jobs and with space constraints are often working semi-blind trying to get the MB connectors on with some form of cable management in mind.

So... is it just me, or have other folks run into this as well?

I take it all back. It's alive! A poor connection with the wrong size marrette was the culprit. And it was my plumber friend that installed it too. He's going to hear about that Sunday night at baseball.

Well, that's good to hear. At least it's an easy fix. I usually go with a size up from what is necessary so I can jamb as much copper in there as possible. With things that vibrate such as dish washers and ceiling fans it's always good to secure the Marrette with electrical tape as well. :thumb:

Last night of packing, would be nice if people who said they'd come to pick up furniture actually came and did it...

OH also not looking forward to the long drives and running around to find a place. Hopefully this time next should be a lot more calm.

Heh isnt that the way helped countless ppl move over the years, but when you need a hand it is always "sorry I am busy that weekend" or "I meant to come by and help but...."
