discussion reputable UPS replacement batteries?

I haven't as of yet. I'm waiting on some kind of confirmation WRT battery size.

I'm still leaning towards the ones I linked to above.

In my locale it is difficult to find these batteries at all, let alone, for a decent price.

Yup, easiest solution I found several years ago was go to Costco and buy a new, bigger UPS.

That's $200 vice $70 (ish) though. From the discussions I've had, it sounds like replacing UPS batteries is common practice for IT sections with large scale UPS inventories.... if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me....

They're about the same pricing as the Amazon listing I posted, and their shipping rates are reasonable when compared to other non-Amazon etailers, but it's pretty hard to beat the fixed rate shipping from the large platforms. ($9.99 in this case).

That's what's killing me in this particular product hunt... getting heavy stuff shipped down here is stupidly expensive... I've seen several $40+ quotes from online sources in Ontario. If I were in a larger hub I'd be seeing much closer to Amazon's $10 rate.

I've replaced the battery in my Cyberpower 850PFCLCD and bought it from "UPS Battery Center" on Amazon. No issues to report, though it was a bit of a hassle to get in there with the cables connected. There really wasn't much excess cable to play with and the cables were extremely stiff.
