Nope it was not because of customs. Before I could even get an RMA number I had to pay for return shipping and then when I shipped it to them I also had to pay for shipping. Not to mention when the motherboard arrived the heatsink was damaged so I had to pay $30 to fix that. So it wasn't a pleasant experience. A lot of Canadians are complaining about having to pay for shipping on the EVGA forums. So I am not gonna buy another product from them unless they change or have an RMA department in Canada as it isn't worth paying $60 for shipping plus $30 for the heatsink. $90 is too much to just get the dang thing fixed.
