9070 with Samsung VRAM tested and showing 2.6% slower compare to SK sourced memory.

 
Thread revive! Same guy now have 2 melted 12V-2x6 cable. At least he could RMA the 2nd card. I got to wonder if it's his PSU and PCI-E cables causing the issue since it has been proven the 12V-2x6 cables have very low margin for wattage diff and lack of load balancing on the cards.

 
There is that new Igor labs connector for 12V High Failure with built-in circuits to cut or help load balance. But for that to exist because a 💩 company wanted to force people to have to buy new cards is shady af they won't even use that connector on the $100,000 GPUs tells ya all you need to know bout Ngreedia.

I've done those two builds, one with a 5070 TI and one with 5080, both with Corsair power supplies with dedicated cables for that connection. No issues so far and I certainly hope it says that way! I tried to go with quality power supply and no additional cable adaptors required.
