Ryzen 5800x3d, Asus X 570 E

This is a tough combination. Solid products, both with life. But the market for them is shrinking fast as most people aren't looking for DDR4 platforms. Also, people are still trying to sell 5800X3Ds for double what a 5800X sells for new, and even more than a solid AM5 CPU would go for new.

My personal thoughts would be *around* $200 for the board and $250-300 for the cpu. But if you can get more, amazing.

So, I paid $300 for a 5800X3D back in March. The attraction to me was being able to slot it into my existing socket in order to upgrade from my 5600X.
I think you should still be able to get that amount for this processor.

Quoting the above because especially in the last month the spike in DDR4 and DDR5 prices are also making the value propositions of DDR4 systems a lot worse unless someone is looking for a drop-in upgrade
