Scrapped DDR4 Server RAM now worth $20K

Some lucky duck got 72 sticks of DDR4 ECC ram from his dad's company. From the picture, it looks like these are 32GB sticks. According to the story, OP's dad's company upgraded to new server with RAM already installed so they just plan on scrapping the RAM. These would go nicely with EPYC combo from China where you could get a 32C/64T single socket 2nd gen EPYC for around $1K.

 
Uhhh.... well I dont have 72 sticks of 32gb.
But I do have (for some* reason) 16x 8Gb DDR4 ECC sticks. Wonder how much those are now.

*= the reason being that totally-secret Epyc build I've had sitting around for over 2 years... 😅😓😔🥲😭

Ebay say $550 for 16x8 DDR4 ECC 2133. If you don't want your Epyc system, I'll help you dispose of it and I'll even pay shipping.
