discussion Security Camera for Laundry Room in Apartment Complex

I have a friend who needs a security camera in the laundry room.

What is a good ip camera should I get. Wifi based though.

Something like h265 based is better right? Those Dome cameras?

I want it to detect motion and start recording sending footage online over to remote computer server.

I have lorex security system I installed several years ago. This system has hd quality as well as night vision. It also gives you option of motion detect individual cameras. In my case I have the office set to motion detect, so I receive a text when motion is picked up.
