Sim City 5

It all comes down to size.. they've made some nice additions into the gave since release but there's still one big problem, Size of the maps. They released DLC not long ago and basically tried to cram more people into a city by offering massive futuristic skyscrapers. I haven't seen the reviews but I'm pretty sure it flopped. Also everytime they released a patch they claimed they had fixed the money sharing issues. well after 7-8 patches the issue is still there. The Maxis dev said on reddit that size was due to hardware limitation but most people aren't buying that. When and if they do release bigger maps and possibly some type of world edit then the game might be enjoyable like it used to be with Simcity 4.

Was that paid or free DLC? If it's free then at least they're trying to fix the issues, if not then they're trying to make money out of stuff that was broken on release.

Still not convinced it's worthwhile connecting to origin to get my free game.... ;)

Thought that's the new expansion that's supposed to be coming out, something about the future where you can actually build vertically rather than horizontally like everyone wants.

Haven't been back to the game in months, though I do want to try it again (also if my brother will accept my origin friend invite so we can be in the same region)

So there is still no real single player option? That pretty much seals the deal for me. I'm not much of a multi-player kinda dude.

The game never was intended for single player nor do I see it becoming that in the near future. To much of the economy and city building relies on other people to play.

Unless you play multiple cities on your own at the same time, it is possible to play and enjoy the game in single player, but you have to do this.

LOL yeah. To me that isn't a lot of fun.

Yeah, that just sounds like purchasing a two or three keys of the same multiplayer game so that you can advance... I'll pass thanks.

And on that note... you can colour me quite unimpressed with AMD's Never Settle bundle as it pertains to their A series processors.....
