When it says exiting safe zone as you leave Crusader after spawning ship anywhere out there can be FPS and ship Combat. There is one station now that you can get long guns in and do FPS running around the place. All com arrases are EVA FPS also. In PTU there is a station that has a mission that's EVA FPS oriented.

Go to the deep space probes also.

See you in the Verse :)

Hit ( F9 ) and mouse around in that. ( green area )


EDIT : Patch 2.1 Live servers PTU vers h is now live version ends in ( 65 )

2.1 is out on live ! Vanguard is also flyable .. which is amazing considering it came out not that long ago. Game is a lot more stable now.

Well that is good to hear! I'll have to check it out again this weekend. Was a Vanguard being flyable the secret reveal thing they were talking about for 2.1?

im guessing because it was streamlined really fast. I mean the concept came out in Sept 2015. it was hangar ready less than a month ago. 2.2 should be on PTU next week and with that I expect to see the Sabre flight ready and the Starfarer hangar ready. Starfarer will interesting because they have to increase the size of the hangars. That ship is massive :D

If you are thinking about buying I recommend doing so Before FEB 14 2016.

What is called Persistent Universe and Squadron 42 will have a funding split on that date.
Buy before you get both at at once.

Expect a major patch near this date also.


Free to play till Feb 8 2016.
 
Well, I'm confused. I'm one of the original backers, and it was supposed to include Squadron 42 SP and the Star Citizen MP. Does this mean I have to pay more for what I was already supposed to receive?
 
kinda fell out of the loop on this game... are you guys in the beta/close beta or something? This game ain't out yet right?

Its issues like this that made me keep far clear of being an original founder.

No. If you're an original backer or become a backer before 14 Feb then you get both Star Citizen and Sqn 42 for whatever you bought in at, whatever is included in the package you buy. I bought in at Christmas to the Mustang Beta package and that includes both, so no problem for me. If you want in after 14 Feb, then you will have to pay for what you want separately is my understanding.

As a side note, although I am a SC supporter and what is coming out these days is encouraging, this leaves a bad taste in my mouth even though it doesn't impact me. It seems like a bait and switch in a away, maybe it isn't... Their game I guess, they can sell it how they like and it doesn't take anything away from existing backers. However, I can't help but think they wouldn't need separate funding streams if they just hired some good unknown actions for Sqn 42 rather than all the heavy hitters. But I am sure that has been said before :biggrin: I would like to see clearly stated the rationale for the split but I haven't read it anywhere yet. And it begs the question: I know CR is planning big things for SC but really... how much money do you need anyway?! :blarg:
