anyone else see Fallout 3 Character Models with higher Def background textures like everywhere else other then characters? its like they upgraded everything but that odd.

Yeah that "Adoring Fan" bit was hilarious. I was quite impressed with this presentation, tbh. I've been putting off buying Elite Dangerous Odessey for something just like this.
I've only watched a little of the new coverage so far but I'm pretty darn excited about it too.

I mean that's a rather low bar to clear really for it comparing it to other Bethesda games...
Well... I just watched the full 45 min gameplay deep dive and I am sure hoping this game delivers on what they showed! If it does I think I'll be occupied for a long long time... I was surprised at how many game systems they've got in there. Even boarding NPC ships and taking them as your own!! That is very cool. They definitely are borrowing ideas from NMS, Elite, even Star Citizen, but their implementations in that video look very good, and if they deliver on those by Sep? Crazy cool and big pressure in the space sim genre.
One thing that didn't look great was enemy AI. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now given they didn't show us that much. But I'm hoping the enemies are better at taking cover and figuring out tactical options than they appeared to be in the video.

Oh and even though my PC upgrades are not very old, I do shudder at what it will take to run this game well on PC. I really hope it doesn't end up being another poor console port.
If you are a huge fan of modding Bethesda games, I can understand purchasing it, otherwise it's included with Xbox Game Pass as far as I know which is arguably cheaper and gives you access to so much more.
Hopefully there's no oddness in weapon damage/timing/etc when running it at >30FPS on PC since they're capping it on the consoles.
