Hey guys. So, Teksavvy just started recently offering cable internet services in Toronto and I'm interested in signing up but, I'll need a cable modem first. I'm not really looking to spend too much so I'm hoping that maybe someone has a spare modem available that I could use. I'd prefer one of the Motorola Surfboard models (SB5100, 5101, 5101N, 5120) but I'd consider other models if the price is right. :bleh:

The list of compatible modems can be found here:
TekSavvy

PM me if you have something! Thanks!

And not stolen, be it literal, or from a rented modem that was never returned. Otherwise I think you'll have some loops to jump through to get it activated.

Do note that buying the modem from TSI, saves you $20 on the the activation charge. So compartively speaking, it'll be $75+10-20 = $65 + HST. So don't spend more than that on a used one.
