Since a large amount of the HWCF population is Chinese-Canadian, I shall make a thread about it so we can all be acquainted with one another.

So if you are a Chinese-Canadian, just post here with a 'lil bit of info about yourself.

1. Which city were you from in China?
2. How long have you been in Canada?
Etc., etc.

For myself:
1. I'm from Beijing.
2. Been in Canada for 10 years.

I hope I'm right about the "large amount of the HWCF population being Chinese-Canadian".

If you're not Chinese-Canadian, but Asian-Canadian, feel free to answer those questions by adjusting them to fix you.

If you aren't either, feel free to say which city you want to live in, in China, if you had the chance to.

I know there are a few here. I would love to visit china, but a combo of social retardation (on my part), lack of cash and minimal language skills keep me from doing so.

1. Hefei
2. 10 years.

Just because HWC is based in Vancouver doesn't mean the majority of its population is Chinese :rofl:

1) DOWNTOWN!!!

I am from downtown China (Say China loud, angry, and fast)

In all seriousness I want to travel the world but no monies to do so. I think I would like rural China better than the major cities simply because there would be more traditional culture in the rural parts.

No worries, rural China is fine, as long as you stick to the golf clubs. :haha:

I'm 'Chinese' but I was born here. Do I qualify?

I don't know anything about my culture, which is quite a shame, but my parents never made a big deal about it. They are pretty white washed too, apart from my dad's accent LOL
