Rants etc.....

Walking kid to school this morning, vehicle turns the corner and parks just a short distance in front of me. Hmm that looks familiar... oh its the vehicle that hit me and totaled my vehicle in December. Still being driven around with even more extensive damage than my vehicle had and it was worth less to begin with. No "damage reported to police" stickers on it or anything else either. Struck a bit of a nerve that early in the morning, thankfully didn't seem to recognize me because I didn't need that confrontation.

Microsoft or Google aren't playing well with each other again. Outlook.com is malfunctioning and freezing up Chrome. it's been doing this for several days now but I didn't realize it was Outlook until I cleared out all my recent history, cache, etc. and loaded up Outlook as the first site. Chrome went haywire, so terminated the Outlook tab and everything started behaving again.

The other day I watched something happen here. People are allowed dogs in this BC Housing building, and one woman has a small yappy dog that she lets run around without a leash. It runs out into the yard barking at other dogs and people as they walk past.

Well, the other day she did the same thing, but this time another person in the building—who I think is careless as well—had what looked like a Staffordshire terrier–type dog, and he also never has his dog on a leash. When his dog saw the small dog barking, it went after it and grabbed it, shaking it like fighting dogs sometimes do.

The woman freaked out and started screaming. She grabbed the larger dog, which released her dog. Her small dog was screaming in fear and ran away. She went back into her place with her dog bleeding and was blaming the other guy who owns the bigger dog.

I’m not sure how badly her dog was injured, but honestly, I don’t blame either dog—I blame the careless owners. The larger terrier-type dog should have been on a leash, and the small yappy dog should have been on a leash too. This whole thing probably wouldn’t have happened if they had followed the rules and kept their dogs leashed.
part of me ant to make a formal complaint to the BC housing management
