They're like ninja shoes. Ninjas are awesome. You might call them gay, but it's hard to do so with blood gurgling in your throat from a shuriken thrown from a toe pinch grip.

I think those are useful, especially when one has a knee injury that cannot sustain shock from the way trainers force you to run. Heel first is terrible for me since I still have some scar tissue leftover from rugby years ago.
