Toronto Maple Leafs...

All Ive seen is highlights because of stupid sportsnet blackouts but fom the highlights it looks like they have played well. Couple weak goals last night though so they could have lost that game easily. Looking forward to tomorrow's game vs the Oilers.

These teams are still hungry currently and if Dubnyk is in, he is still searching for win #1. I think it will be a great game to be honest. :clap:
 
If Quinn sticks to his "win & you're in" philosophy, then it'll be JD playing tomorrow.

I'm still undecided as to who I actually want to win that game. On the one hand, losing would go a long way to securing 30th place, but on the other hand it's the LEAFS and I cannot bring myself to cheer for them, particularly against my Oilers. Maybe I'll just skip the game & check out the highlights on Sunday.
 
Ken and I are watching haha.

His sister went to school with Dubnyk, same class even. Ken is a huge Leafs fan and so it will be a great game all 'round.
 
haha no but my friend who is a flight attendant had me texting her updates so she could share with the flight when they were preparing for takeoff

I've been a Leaf fan since the likes of Ian Turnbull, Darryl Sittler, Lanny McDonald and Mike Palmateer. So that's forever.

I like what I've seen from the team in it's current form. Younger, faster and decent goaltending. I'm hoping they go into next season with pretty much the same lineup as now. To bad about this years draft pick, but Kessel should be worth it in the long run.
 
Great game tonight, so far. I thought we were going to see Phaneuf fight Delaurier there :clap:
