Toronto Maple Leafs...

I cant find much on him other than his Finnish League stats. Have you found some good info on him, scouting reports or anything? He will be playing for the Marlies for a while and hes probably 3rd or 4th in the DC so there is no short term impact but Im curious to know more about him. I was glad to see Monster sign for 2 years, I think he has a future.

No stats. Ken has been telling me about him all week and today was the first time I got to see his play.

He looks more technically sound and the scouting reports from the player personnel staff and Allaire demonstrate he is more technically sound quicker than the progression of most from 22-27.

Watching him battle is a treat!

Yeah, the Leafs are doing well acquiring goalies (undrafted) after they traded good ones away. I guess this means they'll be getting ready to trade their 2012 first rounder, too.

Cool sounds good. Makes me wish I was close enough to watch Marlies games.

My cousins actually drafted by the Maple Leafs, his names Dale Mitchell, he made the Marlies but since the Leafs kept sucking at the beginning of the year he was the only one able to go back to the OHL so is playing for the Windsor Spitfires right now who are currently playing Kitchener Rangers in the playoff. He should be in the Marlies all year next year with the possible chance of NHL hopefully :)

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs signed defenceman Korbinian Holzer to a two-year entry level contract Thursday.

Toronto selected Holzer in the fourth round, No. 111 overall, in the 2006 NHL entry draft.

The 22-year-old native of Munich played 52 games with the DEG Metro Stars of the German Elite League. He registered six goals and 16 assists along with 96 penalty minutes.

The six-foot-two, 205-pound Holzer represented Germany at the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver. He also took part in the IIHF World Hockey Championship with the German squad that reached the semifinals before losing 3-1 to Sweden in the bronze medal game.
