Toronto Maple Leafs...

Being in Alberta the only games I can watch are on TSN and CBC so that gives me maybe 6 a month. Sportsnet games and Leafs TV games are blacked out and I dont understand french. :p

NHL network is $180 for the year and I feel it will be worth it to will relieve some stress when I am mad as hell because a game I want to watch is blacked out hehhe.

That and they don't really cover leafs games unless they are playing the Habs.

I never really understood the whole game blackout stuff, you would think they would want more viewers not less.

Yeah it doesnt make any sense. I thought it was to make people go to games but 1) every game is sold out and 2) I am in Calgary not Toronto!

That's just DUMB!! Not sure if it's the same thing there as it is here but we get leafs TV free... SD that is. HD is an extra that I have to pay for, and they only broadcast during games and nothing else, like they're a separate entity from the SD counterpart and the rest of the time it's just a blank grey screen. But it's a blank grey screen in HD with 5.1 so I don't feel like I'm getting shafted 95% of the time at all :blarg:. Anyway if you had the option to subscribe to leafs TV HD then maybe it'd be different? Just trying to save you the $180.
