Toshiba refuses to replace large hard drive that was under warranty — company offers refund at the purchase price, not the higher currfent retail price
A disappointing move from a major hard drive supplier.
I know we had reports of WD having ridiculously long RMA replacement estimates, but I'm not sure if we've seen a manufacturer outright refusing to replace a failed drive due to lack of stock.
This does not bode well.....
