Tv upgrade.

Hisense 85a68n 85'

I bought one in winter and I like it.
If I were to buy another Hisense I would also buy the extended warranty just in case mine worked great until my none extended warranty ran out then my headphone jack quit working and then 8 months later started top flicker then no picture if I reboot the tv same thign will happen picture for a while flicker then no picture but sound it was about 1 year and maybe 8 months before the picture issue I really wished I bought the extended warranty , I am going try to see if I can fix it with a new tcon board ( watched a few videos suggesting that could be my issue because I wont every try the led strip replacement again lol but my TV I think was a 2022 model maybe .
one thing I should have done was about 5 months after I bought the TV it flickered once in a while but it was rare I should have returned it right away, when my new tv arrives as soon as I see a any sign of anything I am going for the warranty

Then I screwed up, I opted out of the warranty. The sales people were relentless in trying to get me to buy the extended warranty. It seemed like they must make good money on the warranties considering the pressure they were applying.... time will tell, perhaps this thing will die after two and a half years.

I could have just been very unlucky because I was thinkig nthe same thign its a new tv every other TV I hacve ever owned including this old 27in LCD tv I use as a main monitor IO have had since probably 2010 and it works fine when I first fire it upI have two lines going across the screen tha thave been ther efor about a year but one of them dispears abfter its warmed up and the other is at the lower part of the screen and wel lI just do the normal watch the od youtube vid read emails or read throguh the HWC forem here lol anyway I didnt expect my new tv t oquit . but when I was trouble shooting around youtube ther were a fair amount opr people saying that there TVs were fine mind you ther were different bmodels then mine . when I bought mine didnt think that ther woudkl be much differnce between the hisenmse 55u8h and the 55u8n, I bought the H one thinking that theH was newer and better but I was wrong als oit was 50 cad cheaper
