UPS recommendations home/gaming PC in 2025?

I run my internet gear off a separate CyberPower pure sine UPS, just the ONT, router, and a small switch.

At first I had a small issue where the UPS transfer to battery had a tiny delay and my ONT would reboot, which meant internet dropped for a few minutes every time the power flickered.

Turned out the ONT power brick was just really sensitive to that split second switchover. I fixed it by putting the ONT on a small DC mini UPS instead, while leaving the router and switch on the main UPS. Since then the internet stays up even during short outages and voltage dips.

For a main gaming PC though, I’d still definitely go 1500VA pure sine like everyone is recommending here.

I still haven't bit the bullet and bought one... sigh lol
You must have really stable power where you are? My power rarely goes out for long periods but it's becoming more frequent to have momentary dips that don't turn off house appliances but are enough to trigger my UPS relay so i hear the click inside. It's the only way I'd know something irregular just happened with my power. It's things like that where I'm thankful I have a UPS.

Realistically I rarely have power outages either but this stuff costs enough that it feels like it is the minimum level of protection.

Not sure if you are still looking at getting one Lysrin but there is a decent deal right now at Best Buy for this Cyberpower model: https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/cyberpower-1500va-ups-battery-backup-gx1500u-fc/14538697. 70$ off, so 230 instead of 300.

Been looking at getting one for a while now too and been watching the prices for a few months on the 1500va models. This is the cheapest I've seen for a 1500va model and this one is one of the newer model with the sinewave... not that sinewave matters that much but it is currently cheaper than the non sinewave model (model which is a tier under).

There are two version of that unit I believe, the 900w and the 1kw. This one is the 900kw. While gaming with my 5070ti/7800x3d rig and ultrawide 1440p monitor plugged in, it's not even showing half load.
