I would definitely NOT call that useless! If I had that I don't think I'd get anything else done lol

there are many out there and some of them are programmed with awesome attitudes. that one was an example, but i'd say hunt around a bit and see if you can find one that's a bit more entertaining

I use a butterknife/spoon/fork and thumb to break a seal on a jar. But if your lacking in grip strength I could see that as useful. (we did 20 gallons of apple juice this year I open more than a few jars in a year)

I just use some hot water and a cloth.

Canning tool. The small part is great fore filling small mouth bottles. I use it every day.

I grabbed a silicone canning funnel only because it collapses. But that one looks nice. There is litterally a bin in the basement with cheese cloths and other canning related things and trying very hard to make it not grow outside of that bin. Did very little this year the crab apple tree didn't produce well, the choke cherry tree didn't produce well. I ended up having to cut down one of the Saskatoon berry trees as it had a black rot infestation. I hope the others are ok but again didn't produce well. The bunch of apple juice I made this year was from the in-laws trees.
