discussion Weird sound when gaming.

Hi
I got a one-year old HX850. When I start a game, it starts to make a buzzing sound and sometimes the sound synchronize with the lagging of the game. Beside gaming, I can barely get that sound.

Can someone tell me whats going on with my gpu, and how I can fix it?

sorry, should have specified, what graphics card, what you are getting sounds a like like coil whine

Could be GPU, PSU or motherboard. All of those components have coils which can whine.

Are you saying that you can hear it coming from the PSU(power supply)?

I was just going to say. Likely coil whine either from the PSU or the GPU. Can you RMA it?
