Aha!...Elite Dangerous / Odyssey . This is my main Interest as far as Space Adventures / Simulations go at the moment. I've (just checked) spent too many hours playing this game I think, total time spent... 78weeks 4 days 3hrs 30min. I'm 'retired' now so I have plenty of spare time to fill.
I am one of the Games Kickstarter contributors, more or less from the beginning. I was also a contributor to the Star Citizen Kickstarter round about the same time but...well, no comment on that one presently..... When 'Squadron 42' is finally released I'll most likely be contributing to the relevant topic on this forum I suspect.

As for the AMD build, I'm building it for my Son and Grandson actually, so I'll be donating it to them once I've assembled it and hopefully get it up and running. My current computer that I use for gaming is an Intel based one, mid range I suppose (Intel core i5 12600 LGA 1700) , based around an Asus Rog Strix Z690-A Gaming Wi Fi D4 motherboard.

I was looking for a site that had a good computer hardware discussion Forum plus various other connected topics.
I'd periodically looked at some computer hardware reviews carried out by Hardware Canucks in the past but up till now hadn't realised that you had such an extensive Forum as well, so I thought I'd join you all!
It's a nicely laid out forum, and one (in my advancing years) that's easy to navigate, and registering has been a breeze.

Yeah, it's been around for quite some time now, and is nowhere near as busy as it used to be, BUT there are a number of long time members around that keep the place alive. You'll find that some days there's little activity, and other days are busier..... seems to really depend on whether or not the topics brought up tweak some interest, and on other days it depends on how many new topics @Marzipan can think up.

I'm an avid games player with space based type games being one of my main interests. I've built several computers but still consider myself as a novice in this field.
