based on reviews, I bought the Peugot Paris u"Select for my inlaws and they're quite nice. but, now that it's time for me to get something for the wife and I, I'm looking to be a bit more selective.

so, let's be snobbish! :haha:

at this time, the Paris u'Select and the Cole & Mason Ardingly are my two top contenders.

edit - I have to say, I am quite fond of these new mills with grind presets. having the uniformity is wonderful. not quite as important as it is with a coffee grinder, but quite nice, none-the-less!

I can already tell this is going to be like the battery thread for me.

Things I never knew could be so in depth - Salt and Pepper Mills

Just don't ask about coffee grinders /run

My old one broke so I am using the ones that come built into some low grade pepper lol I like me a good set of wooden ones, I believe the old ones were made by Paderno, but am not too snobbish.

I've always been partial to Le Creuset for cookware and accessories. Their warranty is tough to beat and the quality is next to none.

I actually looked at their salt and pepper shakers (I love their stuff, my favourite stuff to cook with) but they are made of like acrylic and it seems wrong.

Really ? I have never had issues with the cast iron stuff. And yes flame is so nice <3
