Whats your latest purchase?

A DC blocker. The subwoofer I got recently uses a toroidal transformer and its buzzing. Internet says it is likely because there is some DC in the AC, caused by something else on the circuit. And that a DC blocker is almost always required w/ toroidals. Legit ones are way too expensive. So going to try this $13 one. Will have to solder it up myself. As well as 3d print a case for it.

You'd think the Monster 'power filter' I got w/ the amp would actual filter out DC. But it doesn't. So what is it actually filtering?

They're supposed to filter out EMI and RF interference, in addition to voltage regulation. That said... is that necessary? I guess it depends on your environment? I certainly don't have a sound system worth noticing a difference on.

Yeah, I think the Tower 200 unofficially would fit a mATX board too, but after I pulled out the measuring tape, I realized it was way too big. I squeezed my "server" into the JONSBO C6 instead.

Some hose clamps, 3/8 marine fuel hose & bulb and fittings to make a new fuel line for the outboard motor. The old line has gotten so hard I can barely squeeze the bulb to prime the motor. Suzuki wants $177 for a new one, cheapest off-brand I can find is $95. I'm into it for ~$45 and 20 minutes of my time.

ASSASSIN IV VC VISION
