So I'm working on putting together a new computer and am wondering if it's worth it or not to put a my spare 9800gtx in as a physx card.

The system is
i5 760
Asus P7P55D-E LX Mobo
XFX 6870 Black edition GPU
Corsair HX650 PSU

I'm using an Intel x25-v as my os drive (W7) an a seagate 500gb as a storage drive.

Anybody see any potential problems?

for games that have it? yes sir! just work your way with the latest modded drivers, should be fine.

the negative part would be extra power consumption, heat, noise from the second card.

For some PhysX games you'll see an improvement, for others the improvement will barely be noticeable, it all depends just how much PhysX has been implemented into the Game Engine....Metro33 very little, Mafia II a fair bit..etc
