I'm hearing/reading that they also tweaked around some of the builds as to not make them as OP broken as some were prior too. Anyone see or notice that?
 
I'm afraid I don't know the builds well enough to comment on if there were changes. My build is anything but optimized I'm afraid!

Finished the main storyline finally today :) Satisfying I thought. Now I am going to explore some more and do the two expansions.

After I said I hadn't had any bugs, then I had a few of course. Nothing big but I went back to finish up a quest that I would have failed if progressing the main storyline and Philippa had low level of detail graphics for all her clothing. Like what you'd see if she was loading in in the distance but then should be replaced by HD textures up close or for the cutscene. And then doing a part of the story as Ciri, the Wild Hunt enemies had parts of the bodies missing, or if they were whole to start, once I hit them parts of them disappeared. And not like they were supposed to, as if I had chopped them off or something, just popped and gone.

Anyway, nothing game breaking clearly just oddities. And that is without using RT or DLSS obviously on my system. Can't say for sure if those bugs existed before the next gen patch. I've only played those parts once.
 
Did you guys notice any performance difference between DX12 and 11? My system really struggles with 12 enabled. 11 runs superb however.

This seems to be a common occurance now. Hopefully they put out a patch or two to help with some of the performance issues.

As I mentioned before here is a comparision on my rig.

First one is with RT turned off, second is exactly the same settings only with all RT turned on

One thing I have noticed is that the DLSS performance doesn't change much. In that scene above I was getting about 50-55fps with DLSS set to quality and then set all the way to performance only increases it by about 2-3fps. So something isn't right.


But with a gsync panel it is playable without an issue. At least in White Orchard, will have to see how it performs in the cities once I get there.
