Bell had briefly offered 8Gbps but pulled it. I think Rogers and Telus have 5Gbps? Technically they should all be able to offer 10Gbps though as I'm pretty certain they're all using XGS-PON.![]()
[Beanfield] Beanfield 8GBps Internet for $60 (YMMV - area dependent) - RedFlagDeals.com Forums
YMMV based on if Beanfield has fibre in your building. My Toronto condo does, and I jumped on this deal. Was previously paying $50 for 1.5Gbps withforums.redflagdeals.com

10g nics are dirt cheap if you keep to fiberStart counting your pennies if you want to go this route.... just the 10G switch to connect to the single 10G out is a minimum of $150 which is an outlier since most seem to run around $250. And don't even bother looking at what 10G Nics are going to cost you.![]()

I had a similar switch from Eastlink to Bell. Eastlink wasn't willing to give me any kind of break on the monthly bill, as they had in the past, even though I had been with them for 13 years, and Bell was offering much better speeds at a better price. That was several years ago now, no complaints with Bell.Installed today. Tech told me to not use the 10gb port as it could cause issues. Well I am. I want all the speed!!!
The breaking point on this change was streaming with Eastlink can only do 15mbps up. I was having issues doing multi stream.
I figure 1gbps upload should be able to handle whatever i need now!
