What is your Internet speed?

Throughput off of the switch plugged into the rogers' ONT has been a hell of a lot more consistent than pulling it off of the Bell Modem in DMZ/Advanced DMZ. On the bell setup my overnight speed test would range from 1.89 to 2.2. Rogers has consistently reported back as maxing out my NIC (2.33).

Kinda makes me want to get my hands on one of the new fiber gateways with their 10G ports to see how much overprovisioning there is.

Haha of course you will :)

My 1.5G DOCSIS connection runs at 1.9G... so I wouldn't be overly surprised if 2.5G is closer to 3G.

Rogers' Fiber doesn't appear to be fully symmetric. Down seems to max out the port, but Up always seems to lag significantly.

This is what we have currently. Internet and TV included at $75/month.

Gotta love fibre for symmetric up and down. What's the listed plan speed (ISPs typically do seem to over provision).

Not sure what changed from last summer, but currently getting pretty much all of my 2.5G plan for both up and down.

TBH I rarely find it an issue. 30Mbps upload is fast enough to stream 4K to my sister via Plex w/o issue. And I have new issues waiting 10 minutes to DL a show I want to watch.
