Thank you @Marzipan for getting this all started and giving me this chance to have a great PC again after so so many long years!
I don't remember the names of all who Helped, but my great thanks and appreciation goes out to you!

This post will start a thread of how the build came together over the past week and let the world know how it all went and that there are still wonderful people out there who love to help :)

I start off tonight with pics of the old Core 2 Duo with 4GB ram and a Radeon HD 7700 and a slow physical hdd.
This has been an incredible upgrade!

Off to bed now, Post more story tomorrow!

it can't even play RISK: Global Domination! 2022 isn't too long ago, but the CPU, if yours has the Dimensity 700, is from 2020. looking at it's Passmark score, it came in just shy of 4500 points, while my Tensor G4 is almost 8900. it seems phot'se level mobile CPU aren't all that powerful as even the brand-new Snapdragon 8 gen 3 scores just over 11,000 points. flip up to the 8 Elite for Windows laptops and it scores just shy of 25,000, which is where most mid-range AMD / Intel CPU score now.

interestingly and confusingly, the Snapdragon 765G in my LG Velvet 5G is a weaker CPU than your Dimensity 700, but it can have RISK: GD installed. I'm going to chalk that up to the Adreno iGPU being superior to whatever Mali yours is running. Adreno has a lot more support in the mobile gaming world...though that's about to change as Google and Mediatek are partnering right now to create the tech for future mobile gaming.
