Whats your latest purchase?

@sswilson I bought 3 if these recently as well for main rig and Nas to have eits own seperate back-up. No more loud "TICK" when power on the main rig

Initial setup is reporting back 160 minutes for my internal network. That's the Bell GigaHub, the unifi cloud gateway max, and an enterprise 8 poe powering a couple of POE APs.

I'm surprised it's only 60W total for the U8poe, UCGMax, Bell Gigahub, + 2 wifi 7 Pros (POE powered).

Front door used to have a really stupid dividing wall. Tore it down a few years ago and finally building a railing... just about screwed it up royal just now though. Need to drill pocket hole to secure the hand rail. Started drilling with a paddle bit and with the profile of the hand rail the center point of the paddle bit would have come out the other side ruining it.

So waiting on some forster bits to show up now so I don't undo all this work.

A relatively cheap portable monitor to finish off my NAS build. Didn't really need it, but assuming I end up putting the NAS into a dark corner somewhere, it'd be nice to have a local display. On a related note.... typing "slim" at the unraid terminal prompt launches a browser and gives you the graphical interface (including the option to launch the web UI of your docker containers).

good price...but why so small and with such high resolution?

if I may ask, please follow up with comments on how good / bad you found it, the pros n cons. :)

The size is relative to the top of the NAS case and since it's browser based I can easily scale the content to what I want size wise. I would have been happy with 1080p, but this one had posted specs (brightness, & 100% srgb primary concerns) well above the others in that price range/size. I'm assuming higher res will result in better defined text, but could be wrong.

I didn't factor in the touch screen, as I'm not sure if it'll work under unraid, but that would be a bonus. :)
