anyone know why Liquid metal jumped from $21 for 1g to $43 in a year is it Tarrifs or just greed?
I'm not in a cast or hospital but I'm in a surprising amount of pain in spots. Even had an x-ray and ultrasound to double check a few things, even sent me home with a BP monitor as it is still higher than normal. Told to limit screen time as much as possible (means don't go to work) but just had to submit the dashcam video and stuff to the insurance company so at my desk for a few minutes. Not a nice addition to the Christmas season! You're okay though?
Silicone remover works really good to aid in removing the old stuff. Cut out the big stuff then use the remover.Bathtub/surrounds caulking......
It doesn't take all that long to do, but I dunno why but it's one of my least favorite household maintenance chores.
My better half hates the look of the one-piece bath fitter enclosures, but damn.... I'd live with the look just to get away from having to do caulking.....![]()
Silicone remover eh, thanks, never heard about this. I battle with a razor blade for hrs on end lolSilicone remover works really good to aid in removing the old stuff. Cut out the big stuff then use the remover.

Ya, I have that tool. I find it easier to score/cut along the top/bottom with a razor blade, then use that tool to dig out what I can, but then spend hrs getting the leftover out. So, I'm going to look into this silicone remover to see if it can reduce that time. Luckily for me, I only have about 2 days of this every year around my house. One of these guys is what you're talking about, I think.I've got a plastic removal tool (scraper on one end, v-shaped groove on the other) which seems to work well enough when paired with a scribe for digging the deep pieces out. I've also recently grabbed one of the amazon plastic razor thingies which works wonders for removing the excess.
