3D Printer / CNC discussion thread

I'm not sure how well ironing would work in my case as I the bottom layer is technically the top of the device as there's some empty cavities in it to accommodate electronics inside.

This is the guts of the thing, once again a custom designed board by me, not jlcpcb to do the assembly.

For folks who've got an enclosed cabinet, do you ever bother changing your filters?

I just ordered a few replacement filters for my P1S, but I'm not overly impressed with the difference between the factory installed one and the cheap replacement filters I grabbed. The original is twice the weight (presumably due to having more charcoal) and feels a lot more sturdy.

I checked mine and it doesn't look like it needs to be changed yet so I haven't.

Got my new KDEAVI print surface. It is really soft. Just drying it with a rag after washing it and it scratches. Definitely will not be able to use any sort of tool to remove the prints. Currently printing a problematic PETG that has always warped on me w/ my other print surfaces. So far it looks good, I am not able to remove the purge line while the bed is warm.

EDIT: After it finishes I'll try that matte black Bambu PLA. Which had the worst adhesion of any filament I've ever seen.

One of my Bambu Labs refill filament spools seems to have been filled wrong.... It seems to be attempting to pull the filament from to bottom as opposed to rolling normally off of the top of the spool.....

First time I've run into something like that, and annoying as all heck!!!!

I find that overly complicated. I printed this instead, I put the source spool on something that keeps it in place but let's it freely spin, like my filament dryer.

Going to try some print surface clips for the A1. The PETG wants to warp so badly, the print surface itself is being pulled off the bed.
