wPrime 2.0 32M/1024M Benchmark Competition

Who who? I wanna see what system can crack 5 seconds...

Another one:
There still seems to be no system capable of de-dethroning Behemoth from the 1024m spot. How come? You guys OCing so hard you can't run the true multi-threaded benchmark of performance without becoming unstable? /taunt /challenge.
3oh6.

I'm wondering if running this on 64b XP would help my score versus Win7/Vista 64b. Or maybe even 32b XP would be worth trying?

I'll give it a try when I get home if I'm up to it. I'm actually at a Lan party right now and haven't gotten any sleep, so we'll see how things go.

I believe that Vista is faster than XP for wPrime, and I would think that 7 would be faster than Vista and thus the fastest of the desktop OSs for wPrime. If you look at the top records on hwbot, they all use Vista (or Server08 possibly).

Could someone with an i7 using 4threads instead of 8? I'm curious clock for clock how the i7 would do compared to core2, using the same number of threads.

Ha! If I had an overclocking board for Behemoth there would be no competition, hehe... Seriously though, Im using Barcelona cores (approx. 2-3 year old architecture) at only 2.2Ghz per core... Imagine if (and this is a big if) I could upgrade to Quad Shanghai's at say.... 2.8Ghz? Muahahahah!

.... Someone give me a wad of cash. lol

Someone give me a wad of cash.

No, me!

I'll be running a few more tests on Chaos 1.0 soon, trying to beat my personal bests. Once that is done, the system(among other things I own) will be posted for sale unless I receive a job offer in the next up coming weeks.

I need the money/value the system holds, in the mean time though, I'll try and leave some lasting marks.
