If you look at some of the reviews at lower resolutions 660ti SLI almost runs par with the titan.
Thats exactly what i was going to state.
Especially considering that NCIX has those 3GB Galaxy 660ti's on sale for usually 500-600/pair, They perform on par with the Titan and cost about $400-$300 (YMMV) cheaper.
The card is impressive for what it is, a single GPU, and it is the fastest single GPU card, but with nVidia's advancement with SLI profiles, the better deal is the 660ti SLI setup.
SOOOooooo basically we're being trolled with an upgraded/updated 680.
Let's be realistic here, at this price point, if you needed a computing card, you'd get a computing card. If you wanted a gaming card, you'd buy a gaming card. I don't think there's a huge market for a card that can really kinda do both at such a high price point with what is going to be the bigger issue among the two sides to interested consumer - gaming.
This card needed to be a beast at gaming, with wicked GPGPU capabilities on the side. Not something that you're paying more for less, with a feature on the side that not only doesn't take priority, but that not too many folks are going to be worrying about. This is purely a card that's going to live on in computers of people with money to spend for no reason, or somehow believe that having a large fraction of a portion of both worlds is necessary for them. Is it meant to be this way? Probably, I'm thinking. I don't think this is a card that Nvidia is expecting to make real cash on. In the mindset of gamers, this card is pretty much, epic fail.

Just a quick heads up. The current EVGA PrecisionX has the Pixel Clock Control feature available. (I just downloaded it)
Unfortunately my Dell 24" doesn't appear too happy with my attempts to raise the refresh rate above 60hz.

From the reading it also seems that much of the new test games are AMD friendly to boot.
Would love some quick and dirty benches in BF3, Borderlands 2 and some other games.
Nvidia are IMO in the position of AMD this time last year with the Titan. How much was the 7970 at release?
That said their older cards are way over-due a near cross the board 15%~ price-drop to keep them competitive with AMD.
I also have to wonder at the logic of the pricing for this card. Surely if they produced larger numbers they would reduce the cost per card and put it closer to the price that many many more people would consider paying?
I guess only time will tell if there are supply - demand problems.
P.S $1280 in the UK (inc vat ex shipping)..
My U2311h will only hit 65hz.. My U2713HM on the other hand hits 90hz

No matter how you spin it, this is, at best, an $800 card. Price premium for saying you got one.
With regards to stuttering, the only game I really see it in is/was Hitman Absolution. That game just performed terribly and I didn't really like it anyways so it was of no loss to me.
3DMark (2013) also has some too, but that's just a benchmark so again it's of no concern to me.
I'm just glad this didn't totally blow away my GTX690. I'm set till the end of the year I suspect or maybe even further.

I would agree to $700.
At $1000 (and perhaps on sale for $900 or so) there will be a very small market for these and much of that market will already have a 690 in their machines.
