Case fan sometimes stops spinning after boot

should i contact coolermaster then?
Not a bad idea. Try and get a short video to send to them of a boot sequence and one of the fans not starting.

A Mobo Fan header should be more than enough power to run 3 DC fans. I think most can do up to 10W.

Hello,
Case: MASTERBOX TD500 MESH (coolermaster)
Mobo: X570 AORUS ELITE

Been having an odd issue on PC startups mostly when I restart it. Seems that 1 2 or sometimes all 3 front case fans stop spinning after it boots through the BIOS though the RGB still works. (no rhyme or reason with which fan stops, any one of them can make it through the boot)

the 3 front fans came stock with the case and came with a 3 fan splitter pre attached. my rear fan which is plugged into another IO port always makes it through the boot but also stops for a second (corsair fan)

I have since swapped the fan connections with the splitter to no avail and have tried setting the front fans to PWM mode but they run super loud. I have a CPU_OPT connector that is unused, should i try connecting to that and see if the problem wont persist or is it a BIOS setting that is making this happen. the only thing ive changed in my BIOS is activate XMP

I thought this issue wouldnt persist after a BIOS update but it still has.

Hi. I have exactly the same problem with the same case, Cooler Master TD500 Mesh. My board is an Aorus Elite x570 and I thought it was her the problem, but from what I see it is not. did you find some solutions?

(sorry for my bad English)
When I turn on the computer after about 5 hours in a row off, during startup the 3 fans spin but suddenly they stop and don't spin again. Then I always have to do the same procedure which is; wait about 2 minutes with the PC on, turn it off and then turn it back on. If I do it faster or restart it, when I turn it back on they don't rotate. This is the only way I get them to rotate and sometimes I even have to turn it off and on again because some of them don't rotate. It is as if it lacked energy for having been off for a long time or something like that (it is not the fault of the power supply as I recently acquired a Corsair RM850x).
Until recently I managed to solve it by connecting the splitter that connects the pins of the 3 fans in the CPU_OPT connector instead of the SYS1, since in the latter it never worked. I took care of changing in the BIOS that the CPU_OPT should act according to the System temperature and not the CPU temperature. However, a few weeks ago I moved the PC from the floor to the table and by chance or not it just gave the failure again and the 3 fans stop again when turning on for the first time after a while.
I have checked that the pins are well connected, I have changed the order between them, I have checked that the BIOS has things as it should within what I understand and nothing seems to be wrong.
I have also tried to connect the only fan that has the cable near the connector directly to the motherboard and it doesn't turn either. In fact I tried plugging a single fan into the splitter and it didn't spin up either.
